Nancy J. Gerrard, MSN, APRN – NP, has had wide-ranging clinical experiences in her clinic practice, which allows her to provide effective psychiatric services resulting in positive patient care and outcome.
Nancy’s services would include a prominence in providing psychiatric services to a variety of patients across the age continuum. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings to include school of nursing, public schools, home health care, and child guidance center, medical and surgical areas.
Nancy graduated and became a Registered Nurse from Lincoln General School of Nursing and a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Clarkson College, Omaha, NE. She, also, attended Wayne State College and received a Masters of Science Degree in Counseling and a second postgraduate Masters of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Nebraska.
The American Nurses Credentialing Center credentials Nancy as a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Nancy is a member of the Nebraska Nurses Association, American Psychiatric Nurses Association, NLN, and the Nebraska Nurse Practitioners. Amongst her honors, Nancy was employee of the year, and inducted in Sigma Theta Tau: National Honor Society for Nurses. She also serves in many community organizations as a volunteer, member of the Board of Directors, Norfolk YMCA, Lutheran Community Hospital, and the Board of Health for the State of Nebraska. Nancy served on advisory committees, facilitator for mourning group, and volunteer for the Lincoln Public Schools, crisis team, Nebraska Aids Project, American Red Cross, and People’s City Mission. She is also on the advisory committee for the Northeast College and Program.
